Mark Valeryevich Kondratiuk (Russian: Марк Валерьевич Кондратюк) is competing in men's singles figure skating representing Russia.

Kondratiuk was born on 3 September 2003 in Podolsk, Russia. He is the 2022 European champion, the 2022 Russian national champion, the 2019 Bosphorus Cup champion and 2020 Mentor Toruń Cup silver medalist.

He currently trains in Moscow at CSKA with coaches Svetlana Sokolovskaya and Ilya Gurylev.

Mark made a big splash on the senior scene in the 2020/2021 season, becoming the 2021 Russian national bronze medallist and delivering two inspired programs at the 2021 Russian Channel One Cup team event.

I remember Mark came out strong in junior test skates, then struggled a bit in the Russian Cup stages, but something seems to have clicked for him in the past two months. I hope his success grows from here.
 
I gave in and created the Fan Fest for Mark. We all know we want it!
I will add more info, links, results tables, and all that jazz to the original post over the coming weeks when I have a bit more time. In the meantime, feel free to share your love of Mark here!

Mark's performance at the Channel One Cup inspired me to return to this forum that I haven't visited for a while. I don't often fall in love with figure skaters on a first glance (or a first program in this case), but it happened here 😍 His energy is truly inspiring!
 
How exciting for him to have such a good showing at the Channel One Cup! I need to stop finding new Russians to get excited over (my mum: this guy looks different from the last video you showed me, me: that was Kolyada, completely different Russian skater, mum) but how am I supposed to resist this kid? His skating is electric, can't look away. Plus as a visual artist myself, I gotta appreciate that side too. His work is amazing!
 
Well, sadly it was to be expected. He doesn't have any ISU season's best and is too low in world rankings, the TBD spot at Rostelecom was always the only way for him to get a GP this season. I hope we will see him at lots of Challengers and Cup of Russia events!

I hope the boy going to Nebelhorn means RusFed thinks of him as an actual contender for that Olympic spot. Really thought it would be someone else, so happy it's him!
