In preparation for Max's stint on this show, I actually found prior seasons and watched them.

Any preconceptions that anyone might have that this is some sort of typical silly celebrity reality competition is wrong. I fully believe Max when he says, "a challenge unlike any I've ever experienced." This show looks physically and mentally grueling, and some of the tasks are terrifying - rappel off the top of a skyscraper, fall backwards into a back dive from a high platform into freezing water in pitch blackness, jump into a helicopter from a speedboat... all while these American and British Special Forces Drill Instructors are hounding you. I'd totally do it if I were 30 again.
