Just a fun way to find out if GS members are medal oriented (without bringing the country of your residence into it). So, quick, quick, on your honor, don't look it up anywhere, hit post reply and name any skater who placed 4th in any major contest. Go ahead, see if you can do it! Then, come back and see which ones other GS posters named.

Medals oriented

It IS pretty hard. Perhaps it is because the media publishes the medal winners over and over and ignores the almost theres, or perhaps it is because some people are medal oriented as per the statement by one contraversial skater.

Dunno, don't care, just wanted to see how the great people of GS stood up. Pretty well, methinks! Thank you all for playing along with this experiment.

What truly amazes me is that not only do GS posters know their 4th place skaters, but they know how to spell their names!

Without looking at anyone else's posts:

2002 Winter Olympics: Sasha Cohen was 4th.

(Edited to correct a boneheaded mistake.)
