Men Free Skating - 2013 Trophée Eric Bompard

Han Yan looks a little out of it, a bit disoriented and stamina flagging and some silly mistakes and pops. I think he has been ill. Door open for Jason Brown.

He is also ill. He looks pale as a ghost.

But props to Hanee for not giving up. I can't imagine even walking while having a fever, let alone doing a 4:30 minute program.

He should remain in 4th....I think?
Oh, I didn't know that he is ill  Poor Han!!

Oh Hanee feel better. Looking him at the K&C. He has those sick sweats. :(

I'm afraid that skate answered my question: Han Yan is clearly not himself. But if he gets 4th he still has a chance for the GPF, right?

Yan Han - His upper body movement was in character of the music but just like in the SP, you could see that he wasn’t in top shape as a result of his illness. His movements were quite mechanical, lacking projection and conviction and his posture and lines weren’t extended well. Given he lacks performance skills on his best day, the end effect was very unimpressive.

Exceptional glide, however.

He did four jump combinations, giving him no value for 3flip/1toe.

He should be in for the GPF thanks to his 1st place in China.
