Yes, the 2008 U.S. Nationals Exhibition is currently scheduled to start at 7 pm on Sunday evening. FYI, I just posted a preliminary/unofficial 2008 U.S. Nationals event schedule at: http://www.goldenskate.com/forum/showthread.php?p=261355#post261355(What will they do with exhibition -- hold it at night?)
No, not until last year at some venue. I can't remember, but I always book out on Sunday and skip the Exhibitions. I had to extend an extra night in that case. Was it always the plan to end with the Men? (What will they do with exhibition -- hold it at night?)
Goteborg Worlds shows that the Men will skate last, albeit with the Men's final on Saturday afternoon.

Are you sure of that? I am one waiting to see what NBC will actually do.All four senior finals will be televised live. Pairs, Dance and Ladies on Saturday and Men on Sunday.
whoa! am I reading that right and the ladies free skate is being broken up???? it's not just one long event?
Great News: NBC is showing 3 on Saturday and one 1 on Sunday.See: http://www.xcelenergycenter.com/saintpaul2008/event/scheduleofevents.jsp
Saturday, Jan. 26 9:00 a.m. Ladies Free Skate (First two groups): FINAL (bummer for these gals)
Saturday, Jan. 26 12:00 p.m. Pairs Free Skate: FINAL & LIVE ON NBC
Saturday, Jan. 26 6:00 p.m. Free Dance: FINAL & LIVE ON NBC
Saturday, Jan. 26 8:15 p.m. Ladies Free Skate (Final two groups): FINAL & LIVE ON NBC
Sunday, Jan. 27 1:15 p.m. Men’s Free Skate: FINAL & LIVE ON NBC
I can't help but think, that NBC has done all it's homework to come up with that schedule (and it is NBC's schedule) If there is any time left, there will be no SPs but plenty of Fluff.I hope there is time for NBC to squeeze in some SP's in the broadcast.

Last year in Spokane was the first time in a while that the Men's FS closed a U.S. Nationals competition (very fitting, too!).I'm a little confused? I wasn't talking about NBC's line up, I was talking about the Men skating as the final event in general. Normally it's the ladies event that closes out the US Nationals...
The preliminary/unofficial schedule that I posted at http://www.goldenskate.com/forum/showthread.php?p=261355#post261355 currently has the men's event ending at 5 pm (Central time).as for flights... I'll just be missing out on the exhibitions, which is probably a good thing when we're talking finances... and I could make class the next day if I did fly out after the men's event on that Sunday...
