Lambiel's Vivaldi LP should go down as one of the great ones. I love his interpretation to that piece of music..

Apparently his 3A was downgraded to a 2A which is why his TES were about 5 points lower than in the qualifying.
Too bad for Brian because he couldn't have skated better. But I'm just impressed he's come back so well after repeatedly doing bad free skates throughout the entire season.

Well, not surprising that Stephane defends his title, stronge challenge by Brain though who will have to settle for 2nd. Evan definitely deserves his bronze medal with much better performance than last year where most skaters bombed. Unfortunately same cannot be said by Jeffery who won silver last year and could not step it up in front of home crowd despite coming into the competition fresh off with Olympics bronze.

Lambiel skated very well aside from the one jump.
Sad for Brian, it was so close. But hopefully he'll take some good things from this.

What an entertaining night of mens figure skating! too bad for the Canadian boys 
but Sandhu seemed genuinely pleased with himself. And that's all that matters. It was very sweet when he went over to hug Joanne McLeod before he bowed. As much as we think that maybe he needs a new coach, he seems to absolutely adore her, and they've been through a lot together, so I'm not sure a separation would have been right anyway.
So, is it confirmed that Canada has two mens spots next year? We're on our way to having three spots in all of the disciplines!

and yes we are on our way. Sandhu finishing in top 5 is a good confidence boost. But next year is going Stephane has gotta skate much better to compete against Evgeni.
I've never seen him pop his 3A's like that, so you know he's tired. But it's okay and he'll be back next year.

That's great! Go Joannie and Mira! I wonder when the last time we had three spots in all disciplines was? When do you think was the last time Canada was even considered a "force" in figure skating!? The only other country I can think of that's been in this position is Russia. Pairs has held the US down.

When Lambiel lands all of his jumps, he is undoubtedly better than Plushenko whether or not the judges agree. His three performances here? Plushenko's in Torino don't compare.
