I thought they would since the stop came within 30 secs of the start of the program but i guess it's the referee's ultimate decision? NOt sure.

OMG Patrick Just woke up and saw the results (its quite early here). I'm SO happy!!!!!!! A well deserved win for him It so si great to see him get things together and skate two really great programs back to back.

I am just happy that Dai didn't sprain his ankle.

Also super impressed with his guts. I would have been scared to skate with a equipment problem. Guess pros have experience in dealing with these things.

Not a good day for the Japanese men so far. Hopefully Kozuka will resolve things...I do not want Gachnski to medal. He should have been behind Brezina and Joubert.
