What's with Adam and Nationals? He hasn't skated very well at this event since he became a senior.

He hasn't been a Senior that long and he's probably really feeling the pressure this year now that he's one of the frontrunners. Maybe he just needs more experience to get used to being one of the top guys.

Brandon did reasonably well; skated to The barber of Seville. Opened with 4toe2toe but tight on quad turned out; 3 axel tight landing; camel spin with change foot into donut; steps into 3 Lutz; another spin from death drop into sit into tuck but very slow at end; steps sequence a lot on one foot, nice; final spin. Looks reasonably happy.

Ugh, dismal program from Brandon - hideous arrangement of Barber of Seville and imitative choreo (copying Ryan's Mozart program) that doesn't go with the music. Messy landing on his 4T into 2T, slow spins, interspersed with silly cutesy moves. Painful to watch

Cassar to El tango de roxanne - nice tension with opening musick, but then right into 3 lutz wit fall off the blade; into ina bauer and 2 axel; into flying sit spin i think; 3 loop 2 toe nice; spin a forward camel with change of edge into catch foot; spread eagle into footwork with nice connection to music and audience; into final spin.

Too bad, he as a good presence and energy. But that fall took the wind out of the opening and only a 2 axel. also he lost his necklass and is now looking for it on the ice
