A summary:
Misha is on holiday right now that ends on 5 June.
The second season at the top level was much harder than the first, harder than he'd expected. The pressure connected to being Russia's number one got to him often, but he feels like he'd learned to deal with it by the season's end.
The most memorable program he did in the season was Baba Yaga, he had a lot of fun with it. The choice of music (Mussorgsky's Pictures from an Exhibition) was connected to the Magic on Ice show he did last September (it gave them the idea). They plan to keep this EX for another season with some further refinements.
He has a very positive impression of Japanese figure skating fans.
He participated in a skating workshop for Japanese kids during WTT (it was him and Evgenia from the Russian team). He had worked with children before, but here he had to do it in English which was harder, often he had to show what he meant and Javier explained it.
They are going to work with another choreographer this season in addition to Olga, but he can't name that person yet. They have already decided on the programs. The theme for one program was Olga's idea, for the other - Misha's.
This season they have plans to do 4Lz and 4T in the short program and 4Lz, 4T and 4S in the long.
There is some discussion on how he sees himself as an actor who can play different roles (both humour and something like Hallelujah) and wants to continue doing it, which is a continuation of his previous interviews.
Misha also talks about how much he was impressed by Javi's SP, Yuzuru's FS at Worlds, and he is also complimentary about the artistic progress of Boyang in the past season.
At competitions he participates in he likes to watch other skaters and other skating disciplines after he has skated himself but not before because the aroused emotions can interfere with getting himself mentally ready for his own skate.
The problems with his back have been resolved, they now know how to deal with such situations and hope that it won't happen again.
He feels like he has potential that he hasn't realised yet and knows that he can do more and better. There is always something to strive for.
Then he talks about how great the Olympics are (the sheer scale of the event, the atmosphere) and how much of a dream it is to go there.
Currently figure skating for him is 50% hobby and 50% a job.
