I mean, at this point they might as well cancel the FS and be done with it. I'm not even worried about Misha, because he is going to struggle in the FS, but Kovtun already did his good-ish program for the competition, and I'm so afraid the FS is going to be a bigger splatfest than the SP.

Edit: the one that stands to lose the most right now would be Lazukin, because I could see him climbing up, but the rest of the guys are way too far.

Bravo Misha! Bravo! He fighted and yes I've also see him tired but he went out of hospital so recent .... I personally consider it a victory but I admid I'm worried about tomorrow. Can I ask? Well Kovtun had 2 nicely looking quads. Misha's 3Lz and 3A were pretty wild. Besides cska bonus is a thing at RusNats

I mean, Kovtun at least tried to have a program, the crazy thing is Samarin 3 points away from him in PCS while he was literally running track in the ice for half the program.

It wasn’t “ I struggled” actually, probably got mistakened in the translation. It was “I tried to do”, which sounds a bit more reassuring I guess

But what if he completely falls apart in the FS and doesn't land any of his jumps? Do you think the Fed will still go for him?

They really should, considering he beat everyone in the SP right out of the hospital. Except for Kovtun, who got that PCS.....

I mean, they won't move mountains for him. But if he lowered his content and does a half-decent FS like he's been doing, I doubt they won't give him a little push. I'd say the only one who is competitive for the spot is Aliev, but with that SP, I think he's out.

But if Misha doesn't land anything, I wouldn't put him on the team, simple as that.

Hopefully the doctor can advise against FS tomorrow.....

Now that I’ve had time to rewatch, I agree with the standings. Components are typical for Nationals. Besides, the only thing that concerns me right now is his health :thumbsup:

I see, Thank you! I haven't seen his performance yet. I'm afraid Fed wants to make him shine again and well, Misha is skating ill.

Yeah, he came out to the press conference in the end. I'm not surprised he wants to compete. Just hope he can do his best.
