I feel so proud of her. It's hard for me sometimes to accept that we may never see her compete again, and I get sad because it seems like the end. But then I see these pictures and read what the people are saying, and I realize her life is really just beginning ... and I know she is going to be fine. Her contributions to this world have only just begun.

The part I find so remarkable about her is that you just know that her post-skating life will probably be cooler than her skating life... Such an awesome individual!

But seriously, what a life she has had already in her 26 years. And she's only just begun.

Madame Ambassador s proving herself worthy of the job. I can see her moving up the ladder in the diplomatic world. Perhaps, a full ambassadorship to a small country (Perle Mesta in Luxembourg) where she will see first hand on how it all works. Much further down the line, in a troublesome country. Wow! Can she handle it?

Missing Michelle

I know she's going to go forward and do great things...but skating just isn't the same for me without her. I miss the excitement I used to feel before a competition.
