Morosov and the Gold He Brings to Skaters

Actually, I am very sorry. I think I confused Morozov with some other coach (probably Vasiliev). Triple sorry for starting unfounded rumors. Morozov & Bourne are (I think) still married. Again - sorry.

No problem. I confused with a lot of things sometimes. I am glad that they are still married. I really don't want to hear anyone's relationship go wrong any more.:)

Isn't he with that ice dance girl Grushina these days? Kind of officially?
Right! That's what I was recalling. Nice to know I'm not going crazy yet... It's just that when I couldn't find anything about them being divorced, I figured I'd err on the side of caution.

Don't forget that Julia Sebestyen won the 2004 Euros working with Morozov.

Gio, do you remember when Julia was at her peak? I didn't pay attention to the Euros and the GP circuit back then and I wonder what she was like at her best. I watched her this year at Cup of Russia and Cup of China and I became more curious about her style and her skating accomplishments...

IMO Julia was at her peak in the 2003/2004 season. She won the Euros in 2004 with a LP skated on tango music and an excellent SP skated on Waltz. A completely new style, very elegant that suited her. From 1999 to 2004 she had great jumps. There were programs in this period, when she didn't miss a jump. For example 1999 LP at Euros skated on Cats. Or the 2000 Qualification round on Czardas. These were programs so so artistically, but with great jumps (great Lutzes and flips!!!). If you want an artistic Julia but still with jumps check the 2003/2004 programs. In the 2004/2005 started the decline, unfortunately!!

Check the 2003/2004 season Skate Canada and Trophee Lalique were she placed 3rd. 04 Euros where she was first and 04 Worlds, where she had an OK Qualification (fall on 3toe) and a strong SP.

He's good for choreography, just be sure you don't date him. ;)

He was a presenter at a seminar I attended a few years ago -- and all the coaches went to watch him discuss the killian 'chic-taws' as he called them - even those coaches who didn't have any dancers at the seminar!! In those tight jeans, and high heels (his skates are extra high in the heels for some reason and make his legs look long and lean....guess that's the reason:rofl: )

Let's just say everyone enjoyed the session!

He and Shae are divorced. I don't know if he's with anyone new..I swear he's been linked to have the skating world. ;)
