Hmm, last year they were very strict, now they don't seem to be.

In the scores. For two perfect skates last year, Kostornaya got 180 something but internationally got 195+.

SP of boys (I watched alive).

1. Samsonov - tiny boy, easy very nice jumps, good spins, very nice skating. Pleasure to watch as Kostornaia year ago at the same competitions.
2. Maisuradze - really good 3a (best this SP), good presentation, mid-level skating skills. Very nice to watch (I've seen him alive first time).
3. Kutovoy - very nice tiny boy, pleasure to watch, deservedly third.

Maisuradze is very big comparing to two others mentioned.

These three are the best.

Skirda - fast, nice to watch, not so good jumps, minor mistakes at spins.

Yablokov - good 3A, solid 3Lz+3T, 3F< with bad exit, as for me less interesting skating than above mentioned.

Kunitsa - all good except jumps,

How did the pairs do? The stream is not working for me due to the copyright.

ETA: that’s weird. The men video is working fine. Just not the pairs.

So question is Maisuradze still representing Georgia and just doing this competition, or is he switching back to representing Russia?

I watched, but I didn't write anything down. IIRC, Labazina/Rakhmanin won the SP by quite a bit. They had 62.__ I believe. I think the next highest team was around 52-53, but I'm not sure. L/R were very nice - higher quality than most of the others.

For Kudryavtseva/Spiridonov, she did 1A instead of 2A and the throw was 2S. And not great levels for the spin, death spiral and footwork (level 2 and something was level 1 - maybe the death spiral?). Very nice twist - level 4. She looked very nervous the whole time. The music was "Call Out My Name" by The Weeknd. I think the program has potential with more mileage. She wasn't really selling it this time due to nerves. I don't really remember their score. Maybe 49.__.

Labazina-Rakhmanin 62.42 good. Other planet comparing to others. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdGcD3uM-pA

Belova-Chigirev 56.47 - good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VMhq7QDWt0

Newbies Khabibullina-Belchenko 52.53 - third, with visible lack of experienc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CbuBl7XQIs

Others - worse than these newbies.

Spiridonov good, his partner Lina Kudryavceva seriously mistaken twice (1A and doubled the throw). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Xh4-GHQ8n8

It is open competition, may be not from Moscow and not from Russia.

Maisuradze is listed at 5th JGP Event from Georgia.

I wonder if it was worth it for him to change the partners. He left Amina because she was injured and then Lina missed most of the season because she was injured too, and it seems that she has some jumping issues (both last season and this season). Well, good for Amina, it worked out well for her but I wonder when he is going to get rid of Lina. I have to say I expected them to be ahead of everyone else, but it looks like they may not be fully recovered from the injuries?
