My Grampy's Taken A "Turn for the Worse"

Got a call from my uncle yesterday. My grampy's taken a turn for the worse and it's just a matter of time before he's not with us anymore.

He's been sick since mid november and the dr.'s gave him 5 months to live, but it doesn't look like he'll make that. Basically his white blood cells were attacking his body and he had no immune system.

He's in what they call "Transition" and so my aunt says it's pretty much in the week that he'll be gone. She and my mom are flying out tonight (first flight they could get)

If you could keep my family in your thoughts and prayers it'd be appreciated.

thanks everyone...

My aunt and mom called... he wasn't supposed to make it through the night but they'd told him that mom and my aunt were on their way so they're thinking he held on for them... he was awake today but the 24-hour hospice nurse isn't expecting him to make it through the night (I think they just say that every day so that they're eventually right, but whatever)

my best friend leaves to go back to Montana tomorrow afternoon so I'm not sure how I will handle this whole thing once it's just *me*
