My "Nationals"

I'm not a skater, but tomorrow I leave for Minnesotta to compete at AFA, the national tournament (one of three) for competitive speakers on the college level. It's going to be my first (and last--I graduate this spring, but can't walk, because my school is sending me to China during the same week for one of my communications classes--I'll walk next year) and I hope to do well.

Wish me luck, eh?

PS- We get ranked 1-6 in each round (each room has 6 competitors each...and each event has at least 100 people...so there could easily be "panels" for each event), kinda like the ordinal system =P

Thank you, Toni and Sean, for the support. I really hope I can surprise myself (and others) and do better than I expected. I'll try to do my best (OK I'm starting to sound like a skater hahaha)
