There is a big difference between involvement and interference.... it is great to be involved, supportive and know what is happening, but when you constantly question, pressure, badger the coach to the extent that they cannot do their job... that is interference. Parental interference is quite common and can be a nightmare in so many sports... just look at minor hockey... tennis...
Why does everybody just assume that Brian cut the relationship because of Nam's parents?? It can well be something else. Or maybe simply Brian doesn't feel he has enough time to deal with all the students there in his club.

And the little mischievous comic at the 2010 Olympics is now a handsome young man in a romance? The prodigy is in a struggle to fulfill his potential and role as The Next One for Canada. I am sure he will overcome his technical issues once he's done growing. D10 can be a role model for achieving great success after a disastrous season or two with his growth spurt but hopefully Nam will stay healthy and injury free. I hope he will not try too hard out of frustration but relax and be patient about the transitions he has to go through.
