Does anyone follow Nam on Instagram? Cause he's done a few livestreams in the past few days with Roman and they're HILARIOUS.

I don't have an IG account (I know, I'm a technologically backwards dinosaur), so unfortunately, I missed their hijinks. I would love it if someone could give me (and others who aren't on IG) a summary of their videos.

It's unfortunate that there are only two spots for the Canadian men , and only 1 is available to a guy who isn't named Patrick. The battle is going to be downright vicious :eeking: , although Nam can make a strong claim if his 4F is consistent enough.

Nam was part of the Ao Dai parade during Toronto's Canada 150 celebration, and he was (very) briefly interviewed at the 4min 44sec (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdLNixOITn8&t=4m44s) and 5min 26sec (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdLNixOITn8&t=5m26s) mark by VIETV Canada (he speaks in English, not Vietnamese).

I giggled when he jumped on to the platform and started dancing on it. Nam the Ham. "Runaway Baby" is by far my favourite routine of his that he has done in the past two seasons; his exuberant personality and showmanship really shine here.

I'm not a good judge when it comes to the technical side of this sport, so perhaps I'm just distracted by how entertaining this exhibition number is, but I get the impression that his skating skills have improved slightly. In my eyes, it looks like he's a bit faster on the ice, and basically less junior-ish with his movements. I had rewatched my PVR of his 2017 Canadians LP, and I do sense that there is a difference. Does anyone else agree, or am I just delusional?

The mistakes were painful to watch :sad4: , but I'm nevertheless glad to see that his speed and skating skills are better than last season, so I'm not delusional after all.

i agree that he has improved especially when it comes to speed... and perhaps that explains the mistakes as he is going into his jumps much faster than before.

I loved the SP so much.

The good news is that I'll get to see Nam compete in person for the first time! The bad news is that I only have the Saturday ticket, so I won't get to watch his SP, which I love more than his LP. :sad21: I didn't know when the ACI tickets first went on sale if any of my favourites would be assigned there, so I thought it was better to be cautious, but now I'm totally regretting that decision. :gaah:
