Two new winter episodes on From the Top sees Olympic snowboarder Anna Gasser (Austria) and ice skater Nathan Chen (USA) paired with contemporaries from the world of music - Sofia Carson and Hayley Kiyoko. The series, from Elton John’s production company Rocket Sports, explores the lives of top Olympians and musicians through each other’s eyes, teaching and experiencing the others’ craft. Available from 30 January.

LOVE the fact that he's appearing with Hayley Kiyoko who - outside of being an incredibly talented and important artist in her own right - is also the daughter of Sarah Kawahara, a prolific skater and choreographer. So this will hopefully be less of a "teach a celeb to skate" series, and more of a true collaboration.

It's my understanding that Team USA skaters have to first go to Los Angeles for team processing, and from there they would board a chartered flight to Beijing later this week.

So...does this clip give us an idea of what programs Nathan is planning to use for the Olympics? There was also a short bit where he was doing La Boheme's choreo. I mean, Raf did recently say that we may be seeing Mozart again...right? So, La Boheme and Mozart? Or am I totally reading too much into this?

Raf saying that we may be seeing Mozart again is probably more of a World's thing...not Olympics. not sure if it makes sense for Nathan to switch back to Mozart now.
