Nathan Chen

Sorry, I do not like him.:( I have made it quite clear a few times in this FF already. And I hope you are okay with it:biggrin:
I posted some opinions and cases like you post yours here, whoever read this could have their own judgement. But I have no intention to argue with you (since it will be pointless) here.
I agree, we have to stop arguing, but you keep it coming and I had to answer lol. Anyway we have to keep it nice and loving here for fans who come to talk about Nathan.

I only mentioned Raf when it is relevant, I did not abuse my opinion about him on this thread. i kept my posts regarding him on point, relevant and without redundancy. But sorry, I think I still have the right to voice my opinion even if you wanna use the so-called "keep it nice and loving for Nathan fans who come here" to silence me.
I won't engage anymore. move on.

standing back tuck ! - he should definitely put one in ex choreo

His formerly beloved white adidas jacket - idk if it’s the fitted lace shirt or the higher waist pants - but he looks so different there and it was only last year.

back flip is an illegal move in figure skating competition, but lots of other skaters have done it in exhibitions. as far as I know, Nathan seems never attempted it in any of his figure skating outings. Maybe he can challenge this move in his future EX and put this move in his figure skating treasure box as well.

there is some coincidences in terms of Names about Nathan (not superstitious ) this season
Nathan's SP "nemesis" turns out to be his nemesis in OG
Nathan's EX "no good" is no good since it was not even performed in OG gala
Nathan's FP "last dancer", he is indeed the last dancer of this whole OG season in men's discipline.

But I hope my beloved Nathan Boi WILL have better luck in his next games, any superstitious stuff please stay away from him.

I thought that a SP to a song called "Nemesis" was a rather risky/bold move.
I refer it to as "NO good" - judging on performance at world's gala
"Last Dancer" and Best Dancer too💕

hi georgia - it sounds like you have a skating background. if you don’t mind sharing - could you tell us more about it? :)
Yes I have. Many moons ago my daughter skated! Some of the today’s coaches and choreographers are still her friends and mine. I am one of the few skating moms to continuou with the sport. Other skating moms don’t know what is going on in the world of skating, and they don’t care to know. Haha I don’t know Raf personally. I met him in Boston after the world competition was over. I was seating with Gabriella’s Papadakis family. He was at a table next to us taking to Brezina, just the two of them, and I thought ok they probably discuss Brezina future in skating. After their meeting was over, and on his way out he stoped by our table to congratulate the Papadakis family. Yes you guested, I am Greek ...and we talked about the friendship between Armenias and Greeks as nations that goes back for hundreds of years. He was cordial and very nice to us all. I love all skaters even if I don’t care for their skating, and I respect their coaches ! in return I get back their respect.
Though I am on this board for a very long time, it’s lately I decided to participate. Maybe it’s time for me to Go back to my world again.

No wonder some of your points were relevant, thanks for sharing your story and for doing all you do for your kid, was she in single or pair, ice dancing if you don’t mind sharing.

@oatmella yes live performance aka exhibition would be a treat but don’t want him risk any injury. I think it’s he fitted laced shirt so regal.

read this article about Yuna, some of her 2 OG experience maybe interesting to Nathan

Some things in Sochi are similar to Kim`s situation in Vancouver. As in Vancouver, Kim stays at a hotel in lieu of Olympic Village in Sochi. Officials say that her lodging is not distant from Iceberg Skating Palace, where she will compete.

Kim visits the rink or skating training center, only when she engages in official exercise sessions. She uses facilities within the Olympic village when conducting physical exercise.

The skating training center, where her first and second training sessions were conducted on Thursday and Friday, were packed with journalists from around the world. More than 20 television cameras were seen tracking Kim’s every single move.

On Thursday, the first day of her onsite exercise, Kim had difficulties adapting herself to ice condition there. As she could not perform triple flip jump, she only tried the same jump three or four times repeatedly. Some 30 minutes later, she seamlessly displayed higher difficulty-level jumps such as triple lutz - triple toe loop combination, as if she adapted herself to the ice condition to some extent. Then, she performed her short program “Send in the Clowns.” After the end of her performance, several reporters applauded.

Kim said, “The most important thing is to adapt myself to ice condition. Ice conditions widely vary from rink to rink. Since I have ample experience, ice at this rink is the kind that I have skated on before. At the latter half of the exercise, I got comfortable and attempted to perform all different technical factors.”

Nathan is great at adapting to ice conditions too.:luv17:

Nathan performed new gala "Back from the Edge" (with 4T)

From James Arthur?

Update: If yes, hen it should be incredible, love his lyrics and the way he sings this song, well the whole album is well done. What does his attire look like?
