Nathan Chen

I’m not sure
Maybe it’s one of those routines where they switch partners? Guess we will find out soon
But he is really a baby compared to all of them !

I'm guessing there's a solo pair moment where the other pairs do lifts, twizzles or spins while Nathan and Ashley will do side by side jumps.

one of the main character (Indian American) in the medical show "The resident" earned his BS in Yale and Med School in Harvard (according to the plot), and accidentally the writer (also an Indian American) of the script of this show is also an physician earned his BS in molecular, cellular and developmental biology from Yale University and medical training in Harvard.

You see brilliant people can juggle multiple roles successfully.

New interview from Canon in Japanese with video message to fans.
http://global.canon/ja/event/skating/interview/2017_2018/chen_2.html

A few highlights:

--Says improving quality of jumps will be more important next season, and to do that he will focus on improving skating and fundamentals.
--Would like to go back to his balletic style from juniors when his jumps become more stable.
--Will not attempt 4A. Doesn't think he can do quints using current technique.
--More than just improving his technical aspects, his goal is to grow as a person over the next 4 years.

Nathan needs to utilized speed more in his jumping technique, maybe he can achieve more rotations in the air. actually, I don't know what I just said:biggrin:

EDIT:
Well Nathan's Japanese interview sounded very different from Raf's Russian interview.

Maybe we should do something like What Nathan said in Japanese interview and What Raf said in Russian interview. Since apparently you have to be PC and cannot say anything in media using the language (English) everybody understands.

Nathan has no problems eating. During the off season he actually puts on a few pounds. Last year after one of the SOI shows he even went out to McD with Charlie and Evan Bates.
