His heartthrob status has definitely grown, especially after the Olympics, everyone want to hug him. Even my mom who doesn't even like skating wanted the hug the cute kid. Then she was really proud he came back so strong as well and thought he was pretty manly.

I wonder what the reaction to him in the shows last year was. Seems that he has been elevated to full heartthrob ‘NAAAATHHHAAAN’ status sometime in the past year.

Somewhere in this thread is a link to a video where you can hear a girl crying at seeing him perform Stole the Show at SOI last year. The big difference is that Nathan is so much more famous now. And a year older!

confession: when there was that Olympic sendoff at Lakewood, I was super tempted to drive like 7 hrs to go. I kinda wish I went now - seems like such a rare opportunity

i think M&G is more free and flexible than autograph session. you can actually hug and selfie like that lucky girl did.

Not sure about hugs, but you can bring one item for autograph and take pictures if I remember correctly.

haha but that might require a little too much self control if you can actually HUG them. maybe that table is needed for safety barrier reasons lol

not only you can hug him you can also posing together with him, Last year's M&G, I remembered girls were doing JJ sign with Nathan. And there is no table in M&G, you can walk freely, I never been to any M&G, just guessing by photos fans took at M&G.
