I doubt it because Jeff is no longer physically with the tour. He was only at the first show and then moved on to things he has to do with choreographing the Canada tour and then other shows in Asia.

Is he the only choreographer for the entire SOI company, maybe budget? I’d like to see more diversity in styles and in each regional collection, I think it can attract more people. It’s great to see local dancers and related professionals to attend the shows, and hopefully propels younger athletes in the sport.

For now yes, he has a few assistants though but nothing major. In comparison, the 2014 tour had Jeff, John Kerr and Rene Roca all at the helm and the best programs came from the latter two. The best years of the tour though, were choreographed by Kurt Browning, and Sandra Bezic, before him.

These two should hang out more. Alex Wong suffered careering ending injury in front the largest audience (national TV) and he came back strong afterwards. many similarities to Nathan.

Back stage Alex is so cute, he has a sunny personality. also, I kinda wanna Nathan to wear costumes like Alex wore (or not wore) in these 2 dances.

Nathan's GP France Le Corsaire costume was more balletic (though some fans hated it, feeling the vest gave it an Aladdin vibe), but the pit stains were a problem even with a vest.

I haven't been too critical of the Vera costumes because at least there were no pit stains lol.

What’s going on with his 4Lo anyway - is it something he can still do? I would imagine it’s a bit killer on his hip

I want to see his 4Lo so much... A crazy idea but maybe he could learn it clockwise? To not affect the injured hip?
Or is it a stupid idea cause he's been jumping 3Lo counter clockwise for years?

Among all Vincent's "six" quads only one of them was really a quad at Worlds I think people who don't really know much about FS will call Vincent as "OMG THAT BOY WHO ATTEMPTS/DOES 6 QUADS" and it will be... unfair to those who really attempts six QUADS and not six underrotated jumps.

I want to see Vincent improve, really. It's absolutely normal that a man ca't jump much quads with a proper technique at the age of 17, 18 or even 21.

Do you guys really understand that Nathan is the only one in the world? There's no other man who can jump so many jumps of many types + 6 in a row + with textbook perfect technique. And he is only 18.

I’ve seen Kerr’s work long time ago, a few of Bezic in recent years and of course Browning, maybe Nathan can do a short CAN trip up there in the offseason or whatever is left...

Nathan is an artist and hundreds of miles ahead of Vincent. Now he has have the world title, and I really really hope he can start to show the world how he is artistically gifted and versatile.

Yea, I don't like URs. In Olympics judges are generous, to avoid confusing people who don't watch skating often. But in other competitions, I don't want them to be blind to URs, which is unfair to skaters like Nathan, Boyang and other older stars.

That said, I wouldn’t be surprised if he shows up next season with new techniques For Vincent’s sake, I do worry about his ambition almost like a mustang running lose.

If Vincent continues using the approach of out BVing everyone (like what Nathan has done in the past two years) and improves on his underrotation issues, it could more or less force Nathan to resort to the same strategy if he wants to stay ahead, which could prevent him from devoting more time to the non-jump aspects of skating even if that's what he wishes to do. It's not that Nathan's not his own man, but this is a competition afterall and what your competitors do, do matter. And at the moment, Vincent seems the most quad-crazed out of any of the quadsters, even more so than Nathan IMO. I don't really doubt Nathan can keep up technically, but I personally am really tired of seeing this out-quading each other trend continue.

Absolutely agree! "Attempted" is fundamentally different from "accomplished". Although I respect Vincent's courage to try 5 quads at Nationals for qualifying Team USA and even showcase on OG, I actually don't understand his logic of chasing Nathan to attempt 6 at Worlds! By doing so, he not only totally revealed his technical defects/deficiencies, but also became a mere follower. He stunned the world by showing people how badly it could be to fail on all 6 quads.

I understand why athletes want to break world records. But being first to land on 4lz + 3T on an OG because of your lower ranking and thus earlier appearance is not something worth of much bragging.

Just my two cents of thoughts.

Wish Vincent could find his own way to reach the peak!

To me I don’t believe perfecting 5-6 quads with serious under rotation issue in such short time span can happen but he can prove me wrong. I did say Nathan needs to improve on his jumps and possibly adding something new.

While watching Nathan's beautiful 3F + 1 Loop + 3S on TV, I was thinking the possibility to upgrade it to 4F + 1 Loop + 4S. It is scary though.....
