Per previous nba IG live Q&As, there’s a moderator that starts the conversation and introduces the guest(s), and will insert questions if the flow is slow or quiet, a bit disappointed about this one; why wasn’t there an quick announcement like others usually do so fans or audience will tune in. Alright at least I got to see Nathan NBA trash talking in realtime priceless!

This is why I think Nathan is a good ambassador to promote FS in branching into other sports and help grow FS and its fan base, especially the teens and college base. Yuki - can you please find something for him on SI or a mainstream platform

Hello Nathan fans,


Just a reminder that Fan Fests are places where positive posts about skaters are encouraged and very welcome. However, it is important not to be negative and to stay on topic.

This fan fest is about 2018 World Champion Nathan Chen. This is your place to gush about him without having to deal with naysayers like on the other parts of the board. That is what Fan fests are for. If you would like to debate something about Nathan or discuss other skaters compared to him, the correct forum for such would be The Edge.

Also, conversations about skaters' private lives should be limited to information that they themselves choose to discuss publicly. Please remember that discussions about skaters bodies need to be done respectfully and with the forums g-rating in mind.


Furthermore, try and remember that you are all fans of Nathan's. You should be inclusive and welcoming to fellow Nathan fans. Most of us do not have people in our real lives that we can discuss our favourites with. It is a shame if some are made to feel unwelcome here.

I guess he mentioned Olympics since more people watch it and worlds didn't even play in the US until weeks after it aired. Or maybe he likes his bronze medal more. He can skate for 4 more years to get another one (or better) now. :yay:

haha oh well. it's not really the right market for anyone to know who he is. not a lot of overlapping between fs fans and basketball fans. and fans didn't have a chance to actually get there to ask him anything.
