His reaction was also cute. :luv17:And was looking for the right gate to get off the ice, found it when he saw Raf.Le Corsaire is underrated. I really love it. And I think 4CC was his best performance. I even love the little mistake he made at the end.

I actually watch his Le Corsaire from Finlandia a lot. There’s a freshness to it and he does this move when the harp starts which he doesn’t do as prominently in later versions. To me that’s what distingushses him as a dancer.
Both WTT and US Nats (first love) were pretty great also.

While watching Nathan at Finlandia Trophy 2016, I started to wonder what his "costume" would be like if he debuts his SP at Sun Valley or at The Ice.
I have to say his "costumes" there were too leisure and irrelevant for a balletic SP and as Prince Igor although I know that's his first competition in that season.

I think Nathan said that black shirt was from H&M
I’d be surprised if Nathan is wearing something other than his black/white ‘uniforms’ for his SP debut - but we will see!

Thanks everyone for your thoughts on Le Corsaire and Nathan's other programs. Right after I posted I realized I also love Winter a lot, maybe just as much as MJ. So oatmella is the only one who'll declare Le Corsaire as #1 Nathan SP!
Thank you for kindly linking the vids with time points as well. I've been appreciating the highlights you point out, enjoying the giggle at the end of the keel-over final pose from 4CC. You know I've never really *missed* the amplitude of the move shine pointed out--it felt like Nationals version was sufficient for me, but maybe it's better with more grandeur, when it's performed with more oomph. I'll have to think deeply on this. Thanks for the insights.
I love all versions of Le Corsaire except the Aladdin outfit version, LOL--that one I only like. I do think he skated with great freedom at WTT--all through the program, jumps, steps, everything. 4CC was also wonderful and as a bonus had the cute laugh at the end. I also _really_ appreciate the wonderful Korean fancams! *bows in gratitude* Nationals started the popping open button tradition, LOL, but that's not why I appreciate Nationals in particular. It was because I thought his toe point / turn out was exceptional there--even on (most of) the camel spin positions. I'm overjoyed when that happens! Thank you all very much.
Oh, and wow, shine's new avatar! What an honor for Nathan to succeed Stephane! I wasn't sure it was ever going to happen!

those arms...that video was super cute, but I can't imagine the suffering poor Bolt would have to endure. Wouldn't it be kinder and more rewarding for Bolt and for Nathan fans if Nathan just videos himself cuddling Bolt as Bolt climbs up and tries to assist him with his math assignment?

Has Bolt ever accompanied Nathan to Sun Valley before? Won't Tony get lonely, unless he's off on his own summer adventure...
Any chance there might be... hmm... a 30 seconds clip of Nathan cuddling Bolt shared on IG or something? I may be as excited about that prospect as I am about hearing reports of any new gala or competition program Nathan debuts in Sun Valley.
I'm still bitter that the USFS promo for Anaheim 4CC omitted Nathan. It's his brand, making friends with dogs, and they missed a golden opportunity to give us more quality content.
