The Ingalls Rink looks so pretty and serene!!! It is so nice to see him practice at an almost empty rink. I am sure he missed his skating friends and family tho :biggrin:

Nathan please remember to break in your new boots, the tape thing would not bring happy memory.

sunlight_girl posted more translation of Misha’s interview. Here is the new part about Nathan if you haven’t got chance to read it

IdF is in less than a week from the Scott Hamilton & Friends show ... makes sense that Nathan won't be participating in the show.
 
While I was surprised to see Nathan's name on the list (he was the only skater competing this season listed) I didn't think it would be too onerous a task. The show is during Yale's Thanksgiving brreak and the "programs" the skaters perform are only very loosely choreographed to the accompaniment of the live singer. Nathan could probably just show up for a day and then fly straight to France after it was finished.

Thank god, he certainly doesn't need any additional stress and commitments with how busy he is this season, and it was really unfair towards Nathan to put him into this position.

I don't agree, the show appearance is an unnecessary distraction, it involves additional travelling and it doesn’t matter if he’s on a school break, his time is better spent resting/relaxing and training/preparing for competition (mentally and physically).
 
I can't believe Mikhail stayed in an area where he could hear shots on the streets. But welcome to America, I guess :palmf::palmf:

He will be at Japan Open on 10/6 - though this is not a real competition. We will get to see the full version of his FS there!

Otherwise his first competition will be Skate America.
