Me: frantically trying to take screenshots surreptitiously at work.
Also me: *watching intently* ...whoops!, *back up 15 seconds*

EDIT: ahahaha 3A was a thing of beauty!
double EDIT: nooooo, the pre-game program started before I could watch to the end of the practice.

I didn't get to see much from the app but from Jackie's reports it sounds like he's is decent shape and might go for 4T instead of 4F.

Poor Nathan. That was sickening to watch. I've been so uncomfortable with the obsession hype for over a year now. Just let him enjoy the process and getting better!

Chin up, Nathan! I have no doubt you will have a great FS.

So heartbroken for him, I can hardly believe it. The world deserves to see Nathan at his best. He is capable of so much more, and hopefully we will all get a chance to see it. Nothing but love for him. Put the past in the past, and become stronger

So heartbreaking. NATHAN. Come on!! You can do it!

They really should not have made him do the team event. I think it really rattled his nerves. :sad21:

There really isn't anything to say. It's not a surprise tbh if you paid attention to his practices, interviews and competitions the past six months. He was cracking and he cracked at the worst time. I hope he can pull himself together and skate a good long.

Ugh. Again, I think he's a little young and needs another year to mature. I hope he can come back and skate a good free. He can still pass a lot of guys in front of him.

What a bummer...but hopefully he can get some in the FS and just finish the best he can.

Ugh...poor guy :ghug:

My impression was: He didn't even look disappointed or frustrated, he seemed relieved when it was over, even later in the kiss'n'cry... I thought that was very telling...

He also showed no fight, right from the start of the program... usually he will always try to put that second Toe on a jump to make it into a combo, no matter how bad the first jump exit is (well, unless he falls, of course) and he didn't even try it here... also very uncharacteristic of him...

I think now, that he has nothing left to lose, he can at least skate his FS in peace and without pressure, and maybe put out a program that he will be proud of...

So heartbroken for Nathan...I don't know what else to say :( I hope he can do a decent FS tomorrow...sigh.
