Of course it's all relative. Japanese housewives can't compare to American teen girls. But you can still hear them calling out to him at the end of No Good.

Overall I liked these performances. He really let loose, although maybe slightly ahead of the music at times. Completely understandable, coming off his first win at Worlds.

That's a loud scream for an ice show in Japan. And he was just introduced too, so they screamed twice lol. Yeah, definitely an older audience I would guess. Don't think you are going to tons of 13-year-old screaming Naatttthhhaaan there.

I think this will be like his hair. In 2015-2016 Nathan would go through a cycle. First with a fro that would grow out because was too busy training. Then he'd chop it off. Then hed grow out the top because he liked it. Then the fro again. Then chopped it off again.
The next season is when he settled on his classic curly top tapered side look. I think it was a matter of him starting to care about his hair and then settling on a style that suited him.


Right now his still wearing athletic gear full time. Suits aren't something his prioritizing since he only wears them a few times a year. Once he realizing he wants to look better, the suits will become tailored. But he's really frugal and prioritized training and school over everything. So don't expect it to be "tailored" so much as off the rack and then altered to fit him better.

Yup yup. Yes, those curly growing pain days, since post OG I feel he seems to know how to groom (nurture) his curls better. With suit, even without being frugal I remembered lots of guys back in HS/college struggled to find their own fitting style so I’m not really worry, he’s got the goods to play with it until he finds his preference. From his artsy style in random subjects, music choice and other interest, I know I will love it when the day finally arrives haha

I wonder if Nathan wasn’t really feeling No Good - did he only perform it 3 times? And all with that non blowing a kiss your baby goodbye ... maybe that was the choreo ?

Haha ok ok, I guess the screaming I have in my mind is a teen volume vs housewives, but I agree that’s a loud reception in Japan.

He was ahead of the music in both, I want that pony leaps be on point... anyways maybe like sheetz said, his WC excitement is still settling in, fine a pass. But for No Good the beginning was better than Worlds yet have to side with oatmella, hip thrust and blowing kiss your baby goodbye were contained possibly for the audience, imagine if he performs it in front of the US SOI? Security will double.
