I forgot to mention that in addition to the TeeterPal group, there was supposedly another group for Vincent, according to the guard. They were supposed to sit in the section next to us. But I didn’t see anyone.

Japanese fans are generally older.

It’s true.
Japan first suffered the Lost Decade in the 90s and just as they made a slow economic expansion in mid-2000 our 2008 recession indirectly rear ended theirs. The chronic concerns of the Japanese economy – deflation and fiscal deficit. By 2015 it was shrinking at an annual rate of 1.4 per quarter and suffered another contraction through 2016, Abe hasn’t found his magic potion to address the deflation, meanwhile, Japan has the oldest aging population which isn’t helping its stagnant economy. I have a few friends with good jobs but they all tell me the 20-30 working class don’t have the same opportunities as the last two generations and the last generation was the wealthiest generation. In Asia, from kpop to the idol culture in general, the Japanese that accounts the majority of the idol world traveling is the age of 45-60, the recent Worlds photos shared by the staff are good references.

When we have deflation, everybody tightens the belt. When they have deflation, they travel the world to see skating -:). I think I live in the wrong country.

Haha Let’s just say many of the fans must be good financial investment managers and/or have husbands who have good jobs, back in college I was in an exchanges program and went to a boy band concert with a friend, there we met four ladies in their late 40s, their world traveling stories are jaw dropping but that’s the idol culture sensation 😉

Honestly I want to be a wealthy Japanese Fan too lol.
When will he start his University duties?
It's cool he's going to attend normal classes and I really hope people won't bother him.

Around August 24, 2018. Classes start the 29th.

just a reminder, Nathan easily has the most difficult content in SOI. yes just some random triple lutz, triple flip and a quad thoe throw there.yet STILLL have one of the best performance quality(artistry) of the show, if not THE best.

sometimes, tickets to American ice show or competitions are the best chance for those Japanese fans to watch their fav. since they may not be able to buy the ticket if the event is hold inside Japan.
Yuna's ATS show tickets sold out in 2mins.

you know these on-ice seat cost like nothing to those wealthy Japanese fans considering they will have to pay the flight from Japan and fancy hotels.

ikr - and only an extra $80 - the floor seats are $160 and best non-floor seats $80 - at least for the San Jose show. And $600 for 6 meet&greets - would be no big deal :)

Next time I’m getting floor seats ;)

i DON'T kr that Japanese ice show has NO M&G,
Even ATS has M&G.
if Japanese ice show has no M&G, then the American ones' M&G are absolutely the best bargain.
