Also, not all Yuzu fans can afford flying all over the globe for him (some are young, have to study, don't have money etc.) and those who can travel are old enough (30+ or most likely 40+) and they tend to appreciate a competition more than gala exs. Like, they really are more into the actual figure skating c o m p e t i t i o n s, wow!
And those who are very young (15-2_ enter the number here) love Yuzuru himself more than competitions, indeed. But they can't afford travelling

Of course everything varies from person to person but it's my observations.

The Olympics FS tix wasn’t sold out either, the Worlds actually had way more tix sold than OG.

I truly wish I can spend all day here chatting about Nathan like some of you, lucky... sigh back to the reality.

I heard it was very easy to get worlds tickets this year - well Yuzu wasn’t there

My friend was in Milan and could have watched the mens SP - tickets seemed readily available even the day before and for a relatively reasonable price. But she didn’t even go!

Nathan was injured in the Nationals' gala, he did not compete, but allegedly he was in the audience, I did not see Nathan there, just a casual fan of Nathan at that time. Mostly came to see Yuzuru. It was crazy, I also experienced the horror of Gracie bomb on home turf...

That means you also saw Ashley have the performance of the entire competition then. I hadn’t heard a crowd that loud since Michelle was skating, must’ve been fun to experience it live

2016 worlds is amazing and a blast, it was a sold out and the host city Boston is such a nice host and organizer.

I was also doing my homework on my flight, and I changed many flights.lol such an experience. I met many fans, Yuzuru fans, and other skaters' fans. I also met Mao Asada fans, they told me, it was so nice to watch Mao Asada perhaps for the last time.

you really have to plan everything way in advance, that is my advice, and it is gonna be crazy.
and buy tickets A.S.A.P Canadian Worlds tickets sells faster than American Worlds tickets.
but I highly recommend you go, totally worth it.

Not Nathan related - but I will say that the only celebrity I have seen in a hotel lobby did not seem friendly AT ALL

I happened to see Conan O’Brien in a hotel lobby - was not ‘stalking’ him - lol - I was there for a wedding

yes, including, selfies, chat, like I have chatted with skaters (international) about choreo etc. And heard some fans were even invited to their hotel room, exchanged cell phone numbers etc.

I think most of the students and others will respect Nathan's privacy. But there could always be a few outliers.

You know Yale is known for their, um naked parties ...
