No Good - I think it will be really good (ha) this time! And his long curls complement this program.

Nathan did show restraint with the quads this time :) - but he did say he will be adding more ...
 
Nathan’s mom is so cute!

Happy she got to see him in this competition - and spend time with him.

Yeah, LOVE the way he moves to this music. So much swag. Such a natural. Also saw other skaters watching him in that video. They must think he's so cool :biggrin:

Haha I noticed that too. He was watching youtube, though maybe it was just for the music since he hadn't done the program in a long time.

And CBC commentary - liked the program, thought he built towards the end instead of losing steam (which I noticed as well). Liked that there are triples because they are landed so beautifully. Wonders if he will add more quads later or if this is the new Nathan. Program is mature and well balanced. Connected to the audience well. And looked like he had energy to spare and it's impressive what he's trying to do going to school/competing. Good commentary overall.

And even Kurt thinks Lori Nichol choreographed his FS lol. Someone correct CBC.

A triple Lutz was Chen's last jump in a programme comprising three quads, half the number he tried in his go-for-broke free skate at PyeongChang.
With more quads to be added, this was a real statement of intent from the American and the perfect response after his disappointing fourth place at the free skate-only Japan Open a fortnight ago.
Chen said of his free skate, "I felt great about it. It was totally appropriate for the time in the season.
 
Looks like Nathan is spending some quality time with his girlfriend ...

Is he going to make it back in time for class tomorrow - red eye flight?
