Nathan Chen

Wow, what an amazing performance he put out there, even Nathan himself couldn't fight that big smile creeping onto his face in the athlete's lounge, while usually he tries to look cool and unmoved (or at least that's my impression).

I love the fact that they edited the music towards the end, which gives him more time for the last jumping pass and subsequent ChSq and feels less rushed, because I have worried about that a lot, especially since he's doing a combination as his last jumping pass.

I could also see all those little, sometimes subtle changes in the choreo moves throughout the program, and an effort to add transitions, which was great!

Lol at that woman above the KnC area screaming hysterically "Nathan I love you!"

Obviously. I was just joking ;).

So um, he always travels with several spare costumes, in case one of them doesn't work out? :)

That alternative costume hasn't been camel-spin-proofed though...

It's designed for camal spin lol

Wow Nathan, so awesome! And I'm so happy the orange stripe outfit was uncomfortable cause I hated that - looked like orange duct tape. Gosh, he was so "on" for this Nationals - so happy for him!

Congrats to Nathan and all his fans here! 🤩💖 Personally, I thought the programs could use just a trifle more emotion, but I don't think I've ever seen a more masculine skate (and I say this with the utmost love and respect for the angelic, lyrical ones with delightful feminine touches to their skates)--especially the free--from anyone since I started watching figure skatinh nearly a decade ago.

It is safe to say that a certain segment of fs fandom has fallen into a giant salt pit and has a lot to say about it. I knew it was coming.

Massive Congratulations to Nathan! That was a truly amazing skate!
