But I think he'll probably perform a new EX program for US SOI along with Caravan. Even if he has to choreograph it himself. He can get his competitive programs choreographed later.

I don't know for a fact, but I imagine there is quite a bit of pressure on top tier skaters like Nathan to compete at WTT. I mean pressure from ISU and national federations.

Personally, it's my least favorite competition of the year and I don't care whether he participates or not.

I'm seriously confused. Even if he didn't have worlds who the heck stays at school during spring break. Is he just...not going to Cali at all and just going straight to Japan? Someone get Raf on the line.

We aren’t worried that he hasn’t left for Japan yet.

But I think most (all?) of the other skaters are training with their coaches. Some coaches didn’t go to Junior Worlds because they were busy preparing their other skaters for Worlds.

Unless Raf is somewhere in The CT area, though that seems doubtful as he also has Mariah, Michal, and Eunsoo competing at Worlds.

Can’t help it. That’s what we Nathan Chen fans do. LOL. Plus it’s not the fact that he hasn’t left for Japan, it’s because he’s not in California or Montreal training. I’m sure there is a reason for that, but it’s the not knowing that drives us crazy.

Yeap, I know that most of US/ Canda skaters have not left yet.
But he said the interview he want to go back to California. I’m so curious about why is he still in Yale...

We haven’t really heard from/seen Nathan much since Nationals.

Other than going to a Celtics game, new Nike stories, him skating in the background in someone’s instagram post, riding a skateboard wearing skates, at hockey game/Ingalls rink with Handsome Dan, and now most recently visiting an art gallery and recovering in bed.

And still at Yale - the opposite of what Raf said he wanted for Nathan - to leave school earlier for California, to have more time to train with him before Worlds.

I remember Phil saying Raf wanted him to leave early and go train. I didn't expect that to happen, but I did expect him to go back to Cali asap and didn't expect him to still be at Yale 3 days after break started.

100% agree. I also think it will be hard to leave earlier than break. But I didn’t expect he spends 3days (or more) in school. Is he going to go to Japan right away....? Omg, I’m so confused about everything.
