Nathan Chen

I wonder if Nathan will head straight to Japan after visiting SLC. If his family are still there he'll want to see them for sure.

Nathan's media blitz post-Worlds is both bewildering and hilarious. I wonder if it's because he won again or because 'tis Japan...? Either way I'm very happy, and hopefully he is not being overworked. Busy, busy! As always his eloquence and PR game is on point. Hope he fills his luggage up with delicious Japanese snax before he heads back home for school and summer training~

One of the post-Worlds highlights was the TV presenter's (the ramen feature) reaction at Nathan arriving - super cute and relatable:).

His schedule for the next month is so crazy! I agree about his eloquence/PR - and I think he has gotten better at public speaking since last year.

After the Worlds you are remaining in Japan for the show. Is it a get away?
AZ: I love shows. And in Japan, of all the places! It's a different atmosphere, without the pressure of the competition. It's an opportunity to communicate with the other skaters and the fans. I don't speak English, but we still communicate. A lot of guys try speaking Russian, learn some phrases. Sometimes it's really funny. But I love it. The show in Japan is the best thing that could happen after the Worl

wow! A lot of guys. :p One may wonder who would they be...

Saw this backstage video showing Yuzu and Nathan's reactions after the FS. From his howling we can see Yuzu is in obvious pain but he is determined to fight back. Nathan shows his calm and graciousness. It's going to be a tough fight next year. (Turn on the close captions to see the onscreen English translation)

allthatskate.official instagram stories - Nathan is in the second story, right after Yuna:luv17:

New Canon interview in Japanese, along with video message.

Not a lot of new info, but he talks about his college life, his upbringing, and future goals. He says he'd like to try different genres of music like jazz or tango.

Oh gosh... A tango SP and a costume with even a teensy pop or color -- preferably red or purple -- please, Nathan, please!

And oh, thank you sheetz for responding to my concern and allaying my fears re: the SOI fall. 😊
