I met Nathan at a Stars on Ice meet & greet. I was surprised at how small-framed/slender he was. He doesn’t look that that small on TV or on the ice.

Of the skaters I can see, he’s the only one wearing a mask. For anyone in Southern California, Great Park is having a send off event tomorrow for skaters attending Nationals, including Nathan.
Nathan made a brief cameo in the Team Plus Five IGS.
I was there (thanks to sheetz for letting me know this was happening!) and can confirm that this information is indeed correct. He was also doing quads during the warmup period beforehand, and was wearing black pants and a black hoodie during the performance. The 4Lz3T looked particularly nice.Looks like there was an ice show at Great Park Ice (a send-off for nationals) where Nathan did La Boheme with a 4F in the first half, no 3A (on purpose/didn't do it for the show) but with a 4Lz3T in the second half.
Thanks to both you and Apple1078 for sharing. IMO, it must mean he’s going back to La Boheme. This is his only chance to perform his SP publicly before Nationals, so you’d think he wouldn’t choose a program he’s not even going to use. And is he really thinking about 4F 3A 4Lz3T layout? That’s a bit crazy.I was there (thanks to sheetz for letting me know this was happening!) and can confirm that this information is indeed correct. I think he may be switching back to La Boheme as well, given the additional consideration that Worlds will be in France next year. Also, other skaters that were at the show were also doing their current SPs. (Mariah, Starr, Calalang/Johnson, Kneirim/Frazier).Thanks to both you and Apple1078 for sharing. He stated in an interview one time that otters were his favorite animal.By the way, I have a question relating to Nathan that I've been meaning to ask here for some time: why do his fans love to give him stuffed otters? Please be kind to me, I appreciate Nathan and am just curious...
Thanks for letting me know. Some clips from the performance.

I thought I saw a piece of Nathan's current long's choreography while he was warming up, but I could easily be mistaken. I know this may sound crazy, but I can't wait to see what happens to it.So what’s going to happen to his long program?![]()

I would second that. La Boheme was an amazing program, very powerful. Bring it back!Chen never got to perform La Boheme at Worlds since it was cancelled, so I am all for this being his Olympic SP, and maybe the Clementine medley as his encore performance in the gala.
Agree. He looks more confident and comfortable with it. But why do you say programs? Did he also change his free?He looked healthy and confident, definitely seems like the right decision to go back to programs that he's 100% comfortable with.
Not that I know of. Just typing too quickly lol.Agree. He looks more confident and comfortable with it. But why do you say programs? Did he also change his free?
