Nathan Chen

Have mercy, the Chen family really has some luscious hair. 😍 Nathan's curls were just a glimpse of the greatness. 😂
Yes I would like to run my hands through the whole family's hair LOL. BTW I really love the bond Nathan has with his siblings. They look to be a tight-knit loving teasing supportive group. All of the family photos just pretty much exude love and care for each other.

US Champions on the cover of Skating Magazine. Nathan didn't have 6 fingers on one hand so just went for the pinky.

Ashley Clark recalls teaching Nathan to perform a backflip on the ice.

Clark tells POPSUGAR she met Chen back in 2012 when he started performing as a guest on Sun Valley on Ice. Chen, she says, had done some off-ice backflips with her a few years before the Pyeongchang Olympics, but he decided to wait until after the Games to officially try one on ice.

"I was stunned but not surprised [by] how quickly Nathan worked up the courage to perform his backflip on ice," says Clark. "From grass to ice, it was maybe a couple hours. It is a true testament to his athleticism and mental strength."

Nathan updated his IG with...you guessed it, another sponsored post. While it's nice that the Xfinity rewards program allows you a chance to meet with Team USA athletes like Nathan, that's still not enough to entice me back to Comcast. :eek2:

I wonder if Nathan will go back to Mozart and/or YOLO six quads at Worlds
My guess is yes to Mozart and no to 6 quads.

A couple of interviews:
The Sporting News: Quad King Nathan Chen reveals the mindset of a gold medal Olympian
“Even if I go for another four years, there are only six competitions in a season. So in four years, that’s just 20 to 25 competitions. Sooner or later, competitions won’t be there. So to be able to enjoy and be present, and to show the work we’ve been putting in is what allows us to do the best that we can.”

I was just looking at the Worlds predictions here on GS and saw someone didn’t have Nathan finishing in the top 5! And this was posted yesterday with Nathan confirmed for Worlds!

It's not the first time that's happened. I've seen that a few times before. I just brush it off as they're either posting their dream top five skaters or they're not interested in winning 😉
