I am really hoping that Samuelson and Bates pull off a really good Free Dance and at least stay in 4th. I would love if they really got on the podium though

Navarro and Bommentre looked liked they skated very slow and cautiously......
I don't know a thing about watching NBC on-line but on tv, it's Dance right now. N/B just skated - no scores yet. I don't know how to describe programs, but they had a little bobble going into a dance spin, and the commentator said they looked a bit tense....i just love dance for the edges and glide and footwork, and they had this footwork across the length of ice that was on one foot mostly and i think that is cool...

So - if you want some details, I can give you very bare bones - next team, W and B? (jennifer something and didn't catch his name clearely); skated to singing in the rain; very perky and joyful. Commnetaror said they have fantastic deep knee action that generates lots of speed and sense of floating across the ice; but that they don't skate as closely together as some of the other top teams. their circular foot work was cool and perky; that did twizzles with both hands over head that was neat too....but not like the twizzles of V/M or D/W.

thank you so much emma...just tell me how tanith and ben did...you don't have to write me about the others..but I really apriciate your help...I will read about the ladies tomorow...on goldenskate in the topic.. but I was really looking forward to see johnny and evan tomorrow

tanith and ben seemed very pleased --- but tanith is also such a tough serious competitor - i was touched because after the skate was done for second she looked like she might get teary eyed too....then collected herself....it was sweet.
this next team is great too...commentators say they will challenge for junior worlds; oh crap....they just had a huge mistake like a complete stop/drop in a lift....skating to "luna"; fast, very interesting positions in lifts and transitions until that wierd stop/almost fall.....spell fizzled right at the end. But they are good....they look stricken and said (oh this is Samuleson and Bates))

sorry that i can't describe lifts or identify levels -- i'l just say that this last team s/b seemed way better than N/B (whom I love) in terms of speed and presencne and the innovative positions, but then - boom - they messed up - it was like a top/fall anyway, davis and white next.
