Nebelhorn Trophy 2012

This is quite a good score for the germans, even if we discount judge nr. 6.
Interestingly Chock /Bates and Zlobina / Sitnikov scored with more than 5 points less than in SLC or Minsk respectively. I am curious if they could hold off Monko /khaliavin in the FD, as the russians had the second highest PCS score in the SD.
Surprising for me that R/H have higher PCS than P/I who looked so polished ealy in the season.

V/vC the germans only in 7th with a deduction...what s up with Hausch/Wende????

R/F .. ahh new swedish pair???

Why are P/I's PCS scores always SO low? I saw them in person earlier in the season, and they were smooth, elegant and polished. Not to mention the fact that they're good performers, have decent speed, and that their program is chock full of nice transitions. They got slammed on the YP in the TES, which makes sense given that they struggle there, but the PCS is just uncalled for. No issue with the placement itself, which is good, just the score.

That is a very nice score for James and Cipres - looks like the French pairs might be quite interesting this season, especially if Iliushechkina and Kocon are thrown into the mix (they will compete at the French Masters).

Kind of OT, but is there any way to collapse the less active competition sections so that it won't be necessary to scroll down endlessly to get to the international events? There's not much going on in the GP and Nationals sections at the moment, so maybe they could at least be moved down a bit?

Thanks for the updates.

OT: Buttercup you said what I was thinking.

SD protocols too:

http://deu-event.de/results/Nebelhorn_2012/NT2012_IceDance_SD_Scores.pdf

Z&G
4 of 6 key points
C&B
2 of 6 key points (much lowere than at SLC-and one of them was a miss because of timing)
Level 3 step, but Level 3 twizzles

Z&S
3 of 6 key points

M&K
3 of 6 key points

P&I
2 of 6 key points, one lost to Timing

Heekin-Canedy&Dun
4 of 6 key points

R&H
3 of 6 key points
Level 3 on twizzles, level 2 on steps

That about tells the tale, coupled with the PCS differences.

C&B scored well, considering getting slammed on the Pattern Dance.

Or you could go to the top thread, top post in the Edge. There are always links there to "What's going on this week"

I could, but that would be even less convenient than scrolling down. It's not that big a deal, but I do think what I'm suggesting would be more user-friendly, and I see that at least demarinis5 agrees.

actually you can hide sections that don't interest you at teh moment by clicking on the collapse button found on the top right corner of each category. :)
