On Site Reports: GPF 2015

It's 6.30 am and it's hard to believe that the first skaters are already on the ice! It's too early. *yawn*
And you're already at the rink? Or are you just referring to the schedule? Because I would totally be in bed at this time of the morning, maybe even if the one practicing was Carolina herself

Ah, no, I just woke up. But pretty sure practices started at 6.15 am. Crazy. I'm grabbing breakfast in a bit and then going to the CCIB, see what's going on. :agree:

I've seen Freestyle sessions start as early as 5:30am at my rink :hopelessness: It's actually quite common for skaters to finish at 6:30am and then go to school.

Training session for junior pairs, Thursday morning.
Very few of them did their full program, but what we saw was very good already.

Next up, junior men.

Just out of curiosity, was anyone of you actually there at 6 AM? I was briefly there at around 8 and there was already a whole bunch of people around.

thanks a lot for reports Pamigena & others!

Cant wait to see Yamato btw:laugh: even more than some skaters!:yay:

There was a Russian juniors pairs or ice dance pair sitting beside us earlier during seniors practice, and I had no clue. Guy had light curly hair, if that helps, lol.
Loboda/Drozd probably

I wonder what Dimalisa are doing:luv17:
Too bad they arent that famous to be stalked & given reports about:(

Junior men, lots of jumps, quite a few falls, can't wait to see the programs in competition settings :).

Next, pairs!

Peng/Zhang didn't do a full runtrough, Seguin/Bilodeau did theirs which I thought was quite good and Yu/Jin did a runthrough without most of their spins.

Second group about to start.

How's K/S????????
ugh Im soo worried about their usual GPF meltdown:tantrum:

Only sad thing was that Smirnov only half -heartedly seemed to do the stomp, I think, lol.
he's saving the best stomping for the comp!:party2:

Scimeca/Knierim, couple of falls on throws in the runthrough.

Stolbova/Klimov seemed in good spirits, smiling during the pauses in the runthrough.

Kavaguti/Smirnov, one fall from him on the first side by side jump, didn't finish the runthrough.

Duhamel/Radford, a couple of rough landings, but seemed in good spirits.

Next up, men.

(All these people are soooo beautiful XD)
