Original Dance

In the dance field, you can separate the top 5 couples clearly of the rest of the bunch. The bottom 6 are very closely bunched together, and you could see all sorts of movement among them. But they definitely are not up to the calibre of the rest.
Going up the rankings, Kerr and Kerr had a major fall, on a dance spin, he lost his balance and pulled her down with him. After that fall, several seconds they lost the fall, still they beat the bottom half with hands down.
A general observation, the dance teams are incorporating for additional points in the side by side straight footwork sequence, reverse twizzles, where you can see how much they struggle and get out of synch.
Belbin & Agosto are the class of the field. Chait & Sakhnovsky are a sure bet for second, question is can Wing & Lowe get on the podium for the first time (I hope they do)...

Actually, it was the Polish team that had the double fall...it was only Sinead who fell at the end of their straightline footwork.

I felt bad for the French team...she apparantly had some shoulder injury, and it appeared to be really affecting her at the end...she wasn't even able to sit in the K&C with her partner, just went back off the ice.

I thought Chait and Saknovsky had better speed in their straight line work, but are pretty equal with Belbin and Agosto in the other sequences. Tanith had a stumble at the end of their straightline work, but they still outscored the Israeli's.

Kasey is right, I was writing off my memory. Sinead Kerr fell at the end of her footwork.
The polish team had the fall on the spin. And indeed the Eve Bentley has her shoulder taped and she looked in pain.

Thanks, Casey and Herios, for these first hand reports. It's like I'm sitting right there between you!
