Wasn't Zhulin the one who choreographed Sasha Abt's Bolero and led poor Sasha into a big decline? I am aware that Sasha was injured but if he was skating he should have been using music for which his style comes naturally.
Has Zhulin ever produced choreography for other skaters that did well in competition?
Ah, for the first time ESPN latin america showed Skate America! I just saw Pairs hort and long nad the original dance, but they didn't show Belbina and Agosto, they were about to skate, went to commercialsm and when they were back it was Pairs free, and I was like "what the hell??". I'm gonna check for a re-run, to see if it was an error or what.
Other than that, and Tatiana's fall (Peter C. scared the hell out of me with his scream, and I was prepared for what was comming), they showed at the end an interview she gave I guess on Monday, she was with Maxim and Oleg.
In other news, I felt like giving a haircut to John Baldwin, Jr.
I suggested to John's father that he get a cut and his father said John likes it long. I then suggested that he go to a stylist after all skating is very subjective and one never knows what is happening in a judge's mind.
Let's see if John get's it styled.
Just saw the free dances. So far, I like B&As FD the best of those shown at SA. I think it'll grow on me even more as the season progresses. They said they're footwork sequences only got a level one, which blows my mind. They weren't the most difficult ever, but they didn't look easy.
W&L and C&S looked good. K&N looked a little rough around the edges. Interesting program, though.
