It will be interesting to see if Inoue & Baldwin Jr. can pull a Scott & Dulebohn and stay in third or better. They seem like a solid team. It looks kind of wide open, right now. Hopefully, the LP will go better for all the teams.

My feeling about Inoue and Baldwin is that they are the Great Pairs Hope for the USA in general. Was this their only entry in the GP?

If it was a splatfest in the SP, then maybe that will bring on strong LPs. I'm still thinking Land A can take this.

I believe I&B were 5th in Cup of China, which had very deep competition in pairs.

I really like their speed and flair. And it's really great to see a competitor that's been around so long in singles(John) finally have some success in pairs. If you look, they are in a virtual tie with Zagourska and Siudek (no, I can't spell.) I read that P&T had a skate problem and had a restrart. Also read that Rena put a hand down on the SBS triples, but f/w was good and spin unison good. The Japanese poster really liked them.

L&A had a disaster, apparently, as did W&F.

Splatfest, from what I read.

Good for Rena and John. I hope they can follow up with a ripping good FS. I am so peeved at Scott/Dulebohn for following up their Lalique medal with a disaster. They wound up with FOUR POINTS for their GP series. And they are our National champions!

I really like I&B ... so happy they have a chance to medal here. Am I correct ... I think they will be attempting sbs 3 lutzes in the FP? Wouldn't it be great for them to land them!

Inoue & Baldwin have 4 pts. from Cup of China. So, there is a chance that with a high placement here (1st or 2nd) and some help from Z&S, L&A, and W&F, they could make the GPF. It's kind of a long shot, but not impossible, given the close competition. Well wishes to them!

I know here's hoping they get it together soon... preferably BEFORE Canadian Nationals!
