Phelps: The Phlipper?

We were discussing the fact that Michael Phelps doesn't have a cool nickname like Ian "The Thorpedo" Thorpe. So, Mr. RG came up with THE PHLIPPER--which I thought was really cool. (You know, like FLIPPER, the dolphin?)

Any other suggestions?

I like Phlipper! I foumd out last night that Michael is my aunts second cousin. How slow is Piel? My aunt's maiden name was Phelps and she was a swimming coach and I never put 2 and 2 together ( we need a thumps self in head emoticon).
