Much better timing. Last year, they had it Dec 19-23, making it so much harder for skaters outside the Philippines to come compete
I agree although that the PHSU have held their first national championships ever since the pandemic hit.

Don't try finding Edrian's CQÉ videos : he w/d. I woke up early to watch him (streaming) but yeah. I can tell you though that he looked very good at the rink watching over and cheering the other skaters. I will see him at ACI.

been following the boy since he was a junior skater for Canada.
I see, I just restarting following FS in Beijing Olympics. The death of Denis Ten in 2018 made me stop watching it all together along with the mismanagement of the previous president/s (these two have a strong case of nepotism) of PHSU to Martinez. So irresponsible of these two.

So glad to see this, especially since there's been so much discussion about them splitting.
I must admit that I was rather concerned about those two since their partnership come across as out of convenience without a shared middle ground. (they have different goals)

It must really frustrating when they do just fine in their run throughs but fall apart during competitions.

Their interviews are really telling how different their goals with the partnership which was a big red flag so these two need to talk heart to heart and set a middle ground.

Most of Alexander's frustration from the past season is having no actual pair coaches guiding them and no structured/ ice training time which is understandable and honestly unacceptable if you want to compete competitively. I'm not sure how is the financial support they are getting from the Federation but they also need to be clear what is their goal for these two and aligned it with financial/ coaching support.

Despite being a Filipino, I would understand Sasha's situation if I was in his shoes and the results that they have is nothing to be proud about if structured training environment hasn't been in placed especially a hurricane has arrived and screw all over the place which it was hard to get the momentum back after the interruption.

Their case especially with Bella really need specialists aside from setting a middle ground.
