Plushenko will honour us with his presence in 2010!

What the hell..I m too upset! Our Euro boys are dropping like flies - first Verner is sidelined at Skate America with a bad case of the flu:boohoo:, then my Plushy gets hit by the flu, probably including some respiratory complications:no: - and now Joubert uses his blade to take himself out of contention? After thorough research and several very logical theories:unsure:, we are left with one very simple conclusion:biggrin:

thanx to ximena who found and translated this here

From today: http://www.gazeta.ru/news/sport/2009/11/26/n_1428771.shtml
Oh, Mishin sounds worse than i thought.:frown:
Oh, I hope that is not so terrible :indiff: - Mishin had a hellish few weeks behind him, so it may be he is little "depressed", considering that his plans it is "disrupting" :rolleye: ;)
Do not surrender, Plushy! ... but be a good boy, lying in bed and rest :)

I told you stop mulleting the skaters!!!!
someone gave me a better idea about who jinxed our boys but I cant post it in public:laugh: But it cheered me up!
Let's face it. It was us with the mullet pictures.:frown:
No - all it started with a yours mock of Plushy's hairstyle ... and signature below your avatar, seniorita  :boohoo:

Thankyou for no mullet pics of Evan and Jeremy.

They have enough to worry about without the "mullet jinx." :)
Arg, thanx god nobody mulleted Stephan at least!!!
Do not lead me into temptation :p

okey okey i changed my title, but it was cute about plushy, i liked it:rolleye:

NO
plushyta:eek: , if you add mullet to Stephan and jinx him, I swear I will abandon Plushy kingdom and root for Lysacek.
I m that serious:boohoo:

Had to post today despite the 101+ things that are presently going on in preparation of a big Thanksgiving Meal. :)

Last night I had a dream about Evgeni Plushenko...first time ever...I've never dreamed about him before, ever. In fact, I can't remember dreaming about a skater more than once or twice or at the very most a handful of times in my decades of watching figure skating. Last time I dreamed about a figure skater was exactly around this time, November of 2001, Sarah Hughes.

It's just so weird for me that I had to post, lol. Seriously, I recall running around in my car getting ready for Thanksgiving, and I saw Evgeni standing outside an important looking building, smiling (this I recall the most his fantastic warm friendly smile), his shock of blonde hair acting like a halo, wearing a warm black overcoat against the chilly air sprinkled with a light touch of snowflakes. I just got this warm feeling from him, especially for his fans, his humility, his kindness, his appreciation. Anyhow, his smile is what I remember the most. And as dreams go, the last thing I recall was a quick flash of figure skating sites (a few dedicated to him & another serious one that I won't mention, lol, not FS/FSU/et al). And the very last thing I felt was to support him, show my appreciation as a fan, et al. :)

:party::love::cool::agree::thumbsup:GOOOOOOO EVGENI!!!!!!!!!:clap::thumbsup::bow::rock::party2:

Tell this story to someone else ...

P.S. then I will be made a photomonatage and with Evan :p

P.S.S. title was not cute :scowl: :
1- you criticize his choice of hairstyle (so to speak - all his life )
2- he looks with long hair sooooooo gorgeously

The best ten olympic moments of decade.

Plushy, Yag and some comments are funny:biggrin:
Salé / Pelletier? In what world? And since when was Plushenko's long program "dismal" - it was really good actually and would have won the gold at lots of other competitions.

:unsure:My own blood is a die hard Jouby fan...:scowl: I mean, we talk about living a family drama:o
Looks like you got the bad genes in your family!

My Mum is a die-hard Lambiel fan, just like me. She hates Lysacek (just like me), doesn't like Chan (just like me), enjoys Johnny and Florent (just like me), likes Abbott very much (just like me). Our differences are that she likes Plushenko better than I do like him, she likes Takahashi, Joubert and Kozuka a little less than I do (but she still enjoys them) and Oda a little more than I do.

Who in your family loves Joubert, by the way?

That was pathetic, who wrote it? I can't comment on the non-figure skating moments, but there were some strange things written regarding the skaters.

Plushenko skated a dismal long program in SLC? Since when? Of course Yagudin was the clear winner, but Plushenko was a deserving medalist.

Elena and Anton's free skate was mistake filled? They had a couple of minor errors! Many skating fans thought they did more than enough to win, and that S/P's program was flawless because it was much easier to skate. I note with amusement that the picture was from the SP - where one pair truly was flawless, and it sure wasn't the one pictured. :sheesh:

I think Plush SLC program would have won Plushy Olympic 2006 program as well!!!Well I laughed anyway for all this, especially that B/S are not in list, I mean one of the highlights of decade for me is them in 2002.

I like your mum, seems we have more in common:laugh:My mum is Plushy uber although frustrated one that he doesnt cut his hair clean and short:laugh: but she feels for him anyway for the hard youth he had and has said he is like the son she never had, we could adopt plushy in the family, yey! :clap:And she loves only Lambiel and Yagudin because they look good boys. Thats all she knows.

My dad is frustrated that Plush has come back.He found peace once we went away and Plush retired:biggrin: Was upset when skating was on cause he could not watch the news on tv. So he learnt to watch also and all he knows is that his daughters are rooting for a russian boy and is worried we will bring a groom like him on day in the house .

My sis is a Plushy fan because I m older so she had to, and well, she thinks Joub is the best thing France ever delivered. We will have an issue at Olympics.:sheesh:

If you were honest and told your father about the one who is half Greek and also World champion your father might like skating more.

But maybe the "wars" would also get worse in your house  ;)

I m sure he would be all proud and would rise the greek flag in February at the balcony! ;) I m happy Evan is half greek and with all respect, but the pigs will start flying before I put up with my dad rooting for him.
I m quite democratic. Having an annoying little jouby fan in the house is enough, i can deal with that.

I wonder who writes these lists, we will see many till Olympics but I think I can write some too more precisely.
The 10 best Olympic athletes of the decade
..
9. Evgeni Plushenko, Russia, figure skating:
He set a world record score in Torino to win gold and won the bronze in Salt Lake City. :ohwell:

And they didnt have Khorkina, the drama diva of gymnastics of this decade?:sheesh:
