Are they age eligiable for senior Grand Prix? Now we have 2 empty spots. Maybe they can get one..
I think it is more beneficial for the pairs to get to the top of juniors before moving to seniors, if at all possible. In seniors they would be just at the bottom if they were not even at the top in juniors. Look at Alexandrovskaya/Windsor. At the top in juniors, but getting through in seniors is hard. So how much harder it would be for any Russian junior pair, (who is not even the only pair or the top pair in their own country) if they tried to move up without getting to the top in juniors? Alexandrovskaya/Windsor finished 15th at worlds. While it is not a bad result, someone like Poluyanova/Sopot are much worse so they may not even get to the FS.They are eligible but I really think she needs more stable jumps before they should move to seniors.
Now that S/K and A/R are out, and also multiple good international pairs are out, one could say that a 3rd Russian Junior pair should have moved to seniors along with Pavliuchenko / Khodykin and Boikova / Kozlovskii. For example Mishina/Galiamov would have done very well in GP I am sure. Poluianova/Sopot could have got at least one GP also.
1st Russian Cup event. They were 2nd. A/K beat them by about 0.6 points.
Wow, what a great FS today at the 4th stage of Russia Cup. Polina's 2nd 3S on her combo was still UR but other than that they were superb, and they did a level 2 quad twist. Their FS TES was about 72 points and FS score was about 136.5 points. If they can skate like this at the Russian Nationals we really might see them at Euros (and Worlds) this season.

Hopefully they will keep the quad twist for JGPF!
I don't know about that. At 5th stage of Russian Cup they receiced 7.52 points for their 3Tw3 in SP but only 6.62 points for their 4Tw2 in FS. So, they should really think hard if it is indeed beneficial to do a quad twist in FS.
