My thoughts on nats:

SP: ALL THE TRIPLES WERE CLEAN!!!!! :love: :love: :love: :love: Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm 99% sure thats the FIRST TIME THIS SEASON! OMG OMG YASSSSS (ok ignore the edge call on the 3F, the edge looked wobbly going in but you can CLEARLY see the appearance of an inside edge right before the jump good god what was the panel thinking) The 2A< is a real pity, but I'm pretty sure it was just a one-time thing. However all the spins seemed slower than usual, I don't know if it was just me... Anyways I'm just glad that she was happy with her performance. In ISU comps the score would be 60-65 instead of 66.35, but that's still a SB by a loooong shot (her current best is 58.42). Also both the SP and FS music are perrrrrrrrfect for Polina, classical music just fits her so well.

FS: Polina got extremely lucky that the 2nd 3Lz wasn't called (in fact it looks downgraded to me). Also her PCS is finally getting to last year's PCS scores! Polina’s fundamentals are rock solid and it’s such a pleasure watching her zooming around the rink while matching her choreography to the music. In international comps I'm guessing she might score around 110 but thats still a SB by 10 points. It's been a tough transition but Polina is finally showing clear signs of improvement so I'm really happy for her!

We will be cheering but only in domestic competitions, I'm afraid.. wishing Polina the best, hopefully continuation of her career with more competent coach...
 
She always looks so good in practice, she just needs to work on her mental strength in competitor. IFAIK, she does well until a mistake comes, the falters till the end.

Like a short conclusion for this Nationals, I would like to say:
-she progressed from her last competition
-her relationship with her team changed a lot, in a good way (especially with Elena Germanovna, with Maxim I already saw that they had a good relationship student-coach)
-she choose the purple dress fro FS, that means she feels more comfortable with it, so congrats for having the courage to chose what it makes her feel more comfortable when she skates (I don't have anything against the other dress, but the most important is to chose Polina, not others for her)
-the "not so light" parts are( in my oppinion) that CSKA still needs a technical expert (TAT said that her flip from SP was ok, the judges gave her a !...)...
She needs time and confidence and we are all here, to support her.
About the other competitions...nobody says that we can cheer for her only in domestic competitions.There are B rated international competitions where she can participate, if she and her team decide.:love:
