How were Camden's jumps? No Andrew at Men's Practice today, and I'm sure everything is fine, but I'm sad I didn't get to hear JLB commentate his L'Enfer step sequence. They played the music though, and JLB said how haunting the song is. JLB was glowing about Camden's skating during his runthrough.
I've just caught up on their yesterday's practice video and JLB said something that stuck out with me: "it's so difficult to skate AND dance" - Oona and Gage are doing it perfectly in this RD. Plus, as JLB also pointed (plus I thought about this a lot since seeing Browns at Finlandia Trophy), their movement just hits the music perfectly, not in the matter of "doing the most", but doing just right. The Browns are amazing, the more I watch this RD the more I like it, So many small accents, the feet are moving and so are the arms. You can see that especially Oona is used to marching and playing her instrument. Very, very coordinated for the both of them. I'm not sure the judges fully know how to reward this ambidextrous quality. It is superb.
Other teams do arm moves while on two feet, not the Browns. They are jumping, skipping and skating while playing trumpets, drumming and anything else they can think of.
Wow I absolutely agree with everything you just said. The RD is my favorite and I wasn't sure at first. They seem to have figured out how to not get ahead of themselves and give too much energy.I've just caught up on their yesterday's practice video and JLB said something that stuck out with me: "it's so difficult to skate AND dance" - Oona and Gage are doing it perfectly in this RD. I think RD highlights their abilities better, I like the FD, but it's not as easy to hit I feel like RD.
It's too bad the judges kind of have them slotted in the lower part of the final group.Wow I absolutely agree with everything you just said. The RD is my favorite and I wasn't sure at first. They seem to have figured out how to not get ahead of themselves and give too much energy.
