I am thinking strategically about the dance event. Unless a disaster happens, spots one and two are taken. Z/K have moved ahead of G/P due to Michael's injuries and because they have been quite consistent this year and everyone felt they would've been third last year but for health issues. My quandry is with 4-5. I actually think B/S have improved and stabilized this year, even though the programs seem the same. I also feel that because they started with another miscue, that some do not want to trust them. The stunning speed with which they skate and the likeability of both programs puts them ahead of G/P whose programs do not have staying power, no matter how much I like them as people or how much I liked their previous work. Green &Parsons are the safechoice - not prone to errors and trusted by the judges. I put B/S above G/P in my predictions and these are the reasons I did so. The Browns are right up next because their skating skills and musicality. They are learning how to compete with older, taller, faster skaters as seniors and they have taken some hits in trying to force improvement. They are coming into their own and stabilizing. I expect solid skates if they just do their own really, special thing.
