According to the Cambridge Dictionary, debut is pronounced "day-BYOO" in US English (which I am familiar with) and "DAY-byoo" in British English. Not quite the "day-BOO" I heard on the stream, I wonder if that is closer to or farther from the original French word...

After watching this all day, I can say that I'd be terrible at this sport besides my non-existing flexibility, my hand-foot-coordination is terrible I'm glad I can carry stuff in my hands while walking around

For a first-year senior, Elvira was quite consistent. The importance of the D score is going down with the new CoP (less BDs and ADs, no combined BDs anymore) and there are some soon-to-be Seniors who could profit from that a lot (especially because they wouldn't have to adjust much from the lower number of elements in Juniors). Not saying Stili has no chance, just saying that the new CoP might not favour her, and some feds have a bit of a history of "dropping" gymnasts after bad competitions.

Either way, hoping Amalia Lica (ROU), Liliana Lewinska (POL) and Elvira make it to LA, my Junior Worlds medalists.
