YASSSSSS at Elena Radianova! That girl really inhibits her music and sells her program. She skates her SP and LP totally differently, which is an impressive display of interpretation skills. She's extremely versatile.

Julia has improved in musicality. She actually looks like she's skating to the music. What's up with the looking at the sky move? Is she going to do that for every program moving forwards?

Adelina looks good, but I dislike that music choice. I also feel like she looks she same no matter what music she's skating to. She uses the same overwrought, dramatic style for all her programs. Dislike that hand grabbing motion.

Maybe Julia or Yulia went to the Brian Boitano school of artistic skating - dramatic stares to the heavens??? But seriously while Leonova had problems in her long; her short is brilliant. REally think it was a wise move. I hope the judges appreciate it.

TBH I was a bit let down at first and it wasn't until I watched it several times that I saw the potential and difficulty in it. I am over the moon that she seems to be using her flexibility to accent the music now much better. Those summer exhibitions where she slowed everything down and held out her moves really may pay off. Her Romeo and Juliette yesterday was more entertaining but CoP wouldn't reward it I fear.

Anyway I have complete faith in Radinova (her program is growing on me too) and Yulia to be able to accel with their programs.

Just finish watching the test skates. Yulia's SP is the best so far IMO. Tuk is not bad but the black costume needs to go. Tuk'a LP is really strong IMO . If she can pull it together, I hope she will get the score she deserves.

I don't buy Radionova's LP much. The music left me meh... Maybe because I don't like Rach. I think Radionova deserves better choices for both her SP and LP. She can sell it, for sure... But I think they need something more memorable for such a performer like Radionova.

I think it's flying a kite. I'm not sure, but it's not just looking at the sky.

Me too, at first, but watching again I think it's a kite? Because when she start skating the hand movement looked more like trying to fly a kite.
Might be a metaphor (flying a kite in a big city ?), or I'm might be reading too much into it and it's an umbrella.

Yulia’s SP
Love the music, it suits her a lot. I wonder what the story behind her choreography is? Looks like she’s launching a kite into the air…
As for her jumps, they’re still a bit rough but honestly guys, are we gonna judge her based on one test skate?
I’m actually more worried for her FS, I hope she gets it in time for JO...

Elena’s FS
Elena was brilliant. Mistakes aside, I think she pulled Rach 3 off very well and I have a strong feeling that she’s the one to beat this season. Music cut was a bit abrupt and I wish it didn’t have that awkward cut in the middle to make it more flowing but great expression nonetheless. Also I wish she used more cuts from Rach 3.

Adelina’s FS
Adelina was great! Very expressive and her choreo seems more polished and refined than Yulia’s and Elena’s, I think maybe cos she already used it many times as an exhibition piece? I think Adelina is good at skating dramatic pieces. Anna P on the other hand... Her Adagio was a bit overpowering.

Everyone made a few mistakes, no biggie, it’s just a test skate

Adelina was great! Very expressive and her choreo seems more polished and refined than Yulia’s and Elena’s, I think maybe cos she already used it many times as an exhibition piece? I think Adelina is good at skating dramatic pieces. Anna P on the other hand... Her Adagio was a bit overpowering.

I am hoping that that's not her official costume but I think it is... The Russian bbs really need a wardrobe upgrade. But at least Elena's SP dress looks significantly improvesd from her costumes of last season.

While I respect this kind of opinion I think it wouls fit the program perfectly.
It didn't suit Rondo Capriccioso(?) but it's totally fitting for Je suis malade.
I'm almost hoping that she'll wear it now, firstly because I really do think that it's an amazing choice for this FS and suits the meaning and the music, and secondly because everyone is so "scared" of this piece of fabric.

Well at least Tuk's LP dress isn't black. It is still dark but it's dark purple, I give her that. I am rooting for her, as she had a hard time last season, and I followed her and Adelina since they were like 13 or so.

Radionova LP was a little rough but this is test skates. I am not judging anyone's faults on their test skates. I just want them to hit when it matters i.e. competitions. I am not a fan of her music though.

Leonova had problems as well, but again, test skates so we will see how things go.

Like I said, I completely respect your point of view.
I'm aware that it depends on various factors like religion, cultural background, home country, upbringing and imo also age and such, what a person finds "tacky" and what not.
There are also people who think skin-colored tights are too revealing which is a thought that wouldn't even cross my mind because to me this is not inappropriate at any means.
